Coffee & drinks preparation
Map the machine, grinder, fridge, sink and supplies in the order staff use them. Include cup storage, replenishment and cleaning space alongside the appliance installation dimensions.

Made around your brief

A good counter makes ordering feel easy and gives the team room to work. Plan a bespoke café, hospitality or servery counter around the menu, equipment, customer route and character of the space.
Think through where customers queue, choose, pay and collect, then consider the staff route behind the counter. A compact coffee point has different priorities from a busy takeaway or a multi-position servery. Your brief should explain the service style, likely pinch points and the space available.
Coffee machines, tills, display units, refrigerators and self-order screens all bring their own dimensions and access requirements. Send manufacturer information and service positions so ventilation, cabling, clearances and cleaning access can be considered. Food-contact surfaces and other operational requirements need to be specified for the use.
The completed projects shown here use decorative panels, colour and lighting to make the service point part of the interior. The customer-facing finish can be developed alongside the practical working side. Branding, graphics and illumination should be planned early so they fit the construction and agreed electrical scope.

Map the machine, grinder, fridge, sink and supplies in the order staff use them. Include cup storage, replenishment and cleaning space alongside the appliance installation dimensions.
Mark where customers first stop, where the till or screen sits and how staff reach it. Include menus, bagging, small-item displays and any customer access requirements in the same layout.
Explain whether customers collect at the payment position or move along the counter. Allow the brief to show trays, packaging, display equipment and the route back to seating or the exit.
Share the finishes people will see from the queue and seating area. Coordinate signage, decorative panels and illumination with the working counter rather than adding them after the layout.
Separate fabrication from appliances and building services in your brief. Identify who supplies each appliance, who confirms cut-outs and who handles plumbing, electrical connections and final commissioning. Include manufacturer drawings, access panels and delivery restrictions.
For a replacement counter, send photographs behind and underneath the existing unit as well as the front. State when the space can be taken out of service. Explore stainless steel fabrication for working surfaces and commercial joinery for storage.
We can review how specified equipment fits within the fabrication. Confirm who is supplying it and provide installation drawings so the interfaces can be agreed.
Yes. Send the dimensions, equipment and service requirements. The design and scope can then be reviewed against the space and brief.
Send the current layout, photographs of the front and working side, equipment model details, service positions and the changes you need. Flag equipment you intend to keep, access limits and the available installation window.
A café, takeaway or hospitality counter brief should show the service route as well as the front people see. For a Norfolk site or a UK project farther afield, send the postcode, equipment list, layout and the dates the room can be made available.
Include any team supplying appliances, plumbing, electrics or the wider interior. If service must continue during a refurbishment, explain the operating restrictions so fabrication, delivery and fitting can be discussed against the actual project sequence.
